Job Types
Diet Aides
Diet Aides are responsible for meal distribution. Because they interact directly with residents, good customer service skills are essential. They also assist in the kitchen with cleaning and meal preparation.
Server
Servers are responsible for bringing meals to residents in the dining room and providing excellent customer service. They may also assist with restocking dining room supplies and keeping service areas clean and tidy.
Dining Room Coordinator
A Dining Room Coordinator plans, coordinates and directs all front-of-house food service activities. They will set up before meal service and supervise employees during meal service to ensure an excellent customer service experience.
Utility Worker
Utility Workers are responsible for maintaining clean, safe kitchens and dining rooms. They keep floors clean, put dishes away, empty trash, and deliver food carts to units.
Cook
Cooks prepare, cook, and distribute all menu items for residents and staff. They may also help with meal planning for catered events. Knowledge of proper food handling and food safety is important for this role.
