Food Management Contracts
Culinary Services Group offers two types of service contracts, Management & Procurement Only and Full Service. We tailor each contract to the specific needs of your community and will recommend the best option for you based on our assessment of your food service needs.
Full Service
A Full-Service contract is exactly what it sounds like, we take care of everything! We’ll manage the day-to-day operations of the entire dietary department. We’ll recruit and hire for both management roles and hourly positions.
With Full-Service, CSG is responsible for all wages, taxes, and benefits associated with your food service team. However, since these employees work in your community or hospital, we’ll follow any pre-employment requirements and policies you have, such as background checks and physicals. In addition to complete staffing, our management team provides CSG’s training to all food service staff and puts into place new workflows and coaching to help the operation become more efficient, safer, and compliant. Plus, you’ll have full access to our menu planning software and back-of-house tools.
Management & Procurement Only
Management & Procurement Only contracts offer flexibility to organizations that need additional oversight but still want to keep hourly food service personnel on their payroll. It’s an ideal option when there is a union labor force, or when administrators want to keep loyal workers on their payroll.
With Management & Procurement Only contracts, Culinary Services Group provides on-site management personnel like a Food Service Director, Chef Manager, and Registered Dietitian. This expert team oversees your kitchen, giving you access to the same support network, technology, and tools as a full-service contract, but the hourly staff remains on your payroll. We’ll leverage our buying power and GPO partnership to guarantee the lowest costs possible on high-quality raw ingredients and supplies.
Management & Staffing Only
Management & Staffing Only contracts take staffing off your plate while allowing you to retain your food procurement contract! It’s an ideal solution for communities who need support with recruiting and staffing but already have an excellent working relationship with a food distributor or receive state reimbursements on food costs. We’ll create menus that incorporate the products available through your food distributor, place orders, and manage your inventory.

While the hourly staff remains on your payroll, they still benefit from CSG’s training, workflows, and coaching to create a safer and more efficient working environment.
Management Only contracts are an ideal solution if you already have a food procurement contract, an excellent working relationship with a food distributor, or receive state reimbursements on food costs. We can create menus that incorporate the products available through your food distributor. Plus, we’ll manage your inventory to make better use of the food products you already have on hand.
