Paninis might be the most delicious sandwich style on the planet! There’s something about the warm, gooey goodness that never fails to please. Our Blackened Chicken and Havarti Panini with Key Lime Aioli is sure to please your taste buds. If you don’t have a panini maker, fear not; you can make our creation in a skillet on the stovetop.
Blackened Chicken and Havarti Panini
Key Lime Aioli
3/4 Cup Mayonnaise
1 tsp. Lime Zest
2 Tbsp. Lime Juice
- Blend the three ingredients above together.
Sandwich Assembly
6 4” x 4” Ciabatta Bread, halved
24 Oz Cooked Blackened-Seasoned Chicken Breast, sliced
6 Havarti Slices
8 Oz Key Lime Aioli
8 Oz Red Raspberry Preserves
4 Tbsp. Unsalted Butter
Yield: 6 sandwiches
- Spread key lime aioli on the bottom half of the ciabatta bread.
- Spread raspberry preserves on the top half of the ciabatta bread.
- Place cooked, cooled, and sliced chicken on the bottom half of the ciabatta.
- Add Havarti on top of the chicken and place the top slice of ciabatta on top.
- Grill the sandwich in a pan on the stove for three minutes, then flip and cook for three more minutes. Use a panini press if you have one.
