Take a flavor vacation to Hawaii!

This Hawaiian Chicken is sweet and tangy and brings a whole new burst of flavor to your palate. Take the stress out of cooking. This simple marinate-and-cook recipe allows for a more relaxed meal prep. Marinate in the morning and pop it out of the fridge when you’re ready to cook it. This chicken pairs perfectly with rice and your favorite seasonal vegetable.

Hawaiian Chicken

 

Ingredients

1 1/2 lbs Chicken Breast
1/2 tsp of Sesame Oil
1/2 Cup Coconut Milk
1/4 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 tsp Minced Garlic
1/4 Cup Pineapple Juice
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1 Cup Pineapple (fresh or from a can)

 

Steps

  1. Mix together, sesame oil, coconut milk, water, soy sauce, garlic, pineapple juice, and brown sugar in a medium-size bowl.
  2. Marinade and refrigerate chicken breasts in the mixture for 2-24 hours.
  3. Prepare grill.
  4. Grill chicken breasts over direct medium heat (350 °F) for 12-15 minutes.
  5. Garnish with pineapple slices/chunks.
